Kore is an independent, pre-launch project (getkore.be) run by Salvatore Cartillone, based in Belgium — the person responsible for your data (the “controller”). This is a simple marketing website — no accounts, no sign-up, no shopping, no advertising. Below is the little data the site handles and your rights over it. Questions? contact@getkore.be.
What this site collects
Almost nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising. The fonts are served from our own server, so nothing about your visit is sent to Google or any font provider. The only data involved is:
- Access logs — like every website, our hosting and network providers automatically record technical details of each request (including your IP address, browser type and the time) to run and protect the site.
- Your language choice — if you switch language, it is saved in your browser (localStorage) so the site remembers it. It stays on your device, is never shared, and is strictly necessary for that function, so it needs no consent.
Why we may process it
We rely on our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in running and securing a working website. We do not use your data for marketing, profiling or automated decisions.
Who else is involved
To put the site online we use a few providers who may process the technical data above on our behalf, as our processors:
- Render — website hosting
- Cloudflare — content delivery and DNS
- Combell — domain and DNS
Render and Cloudflare are US-based, so access-log data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, it relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Combell is EU-based. You can ask us for details at any time.
How long it is kept
Access logs are kept only for the short period our providers retain them (typically days to a few weeks), then deleted. Your language choice stays in your browser until you clear it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data. Because we process the access logs on the basis of our legitimate interest, you also have the right to object to that processing at any time. To exercise any right, email contact@getkore.be. You also have the right to complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, the Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.
Changes
Kore is in active development. When the app launches — and if the project becomes a registered company — this notice will be updated with fuller details. Any changes will appear on this page.
